Water Management

Grapevine growth can be greatly affected by managing soil moisture.  Keeping close tabs on soil moisture is imperative to achieving a balanced vine- which will always result in better fruit.  Managing soil moisture requires balancing the complex interaction between cover crop, weeds, physical properties of the soil, and of course- the vine.  Northwest Vineyard Service utilizes highly accurate instruments to measure soil and vine moisture. The data collected from these instruments allow us to better time cultivation and schedule irrigations.
